E.E. Brown

Founded in 2021 by Nashville-based artist Emily Brown, E.E. Brown Leatherworks is a design studio specializing in fine leather wall art and sculptural decor. Emily's relationship with leather began at age 13 when she crafted her first handbag. That experience sparked a lifelong passion for design, form, and tactile materials.

In 2011, she launched her first brand, Red Velvet Designed by Em, focusing on handcrafted leather goods. That same year, she became the youngest artist to exhibit at the prestigious Geneva Fine Arts Festival in Illinois. Over the years, Emily's work has evolved from wearable leather goods to refined, large-scale installations that merge traditional craftsmanship with architectural influence.

Her leather artwork has been commissioned by leading companies such as Birkenstock USA and Ford Motor Co., showcasing her ability to translate brand narratives and spatial identity through material-driven design. Influenced by Mid Century Modern aesthetics, Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural principles, and her father's creative legacy, Emily's work explores the intersection of structure, warmth, and storytelling.

Through E.E. Brown Leatherworks, Emily continues to push the boundaries of leather as a fine art medium, creating pieces that bring depth, sophistication, and soul to contemporary interiors.
